Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr O. Dudorov (b. June 6, 1967) is a leading Ukrainian criminal law scholar and educator. He graduated with honors from Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University (1991) and earned his PhD (1994; “Problematic Aspects of Criminal Liability for Receiving Bribes”) and Doctor of Law (2007; “Criminal-Law Protection of Ukraine’s Taxation System”). He has taught at Chernivtsi University, Odesa Law Academy, Luhansk State University of the Interior, and since 2014 heads the Department of Criminal Law and Justice at Zaporizhia National University. Author of over 300 publications, including the textbooks Criminal Law: General Part (2010) and Special Part (2012), several monographs, and nine editions of the Commentary to the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He serves on the Scientific-Consultative Councils of the Supreme and High Specialized Courts and on multiple editorial boards. Awarded “Honored Scientist and Technician of Ukraine” in 2012.
