Review

This monograph is the first comprehensive study of crime investigation methods in the construction industry in Ukraine. The author systematically analyzes the classification of these crimes, develops their criminalistic characteristics (subject, circumstances, methods of commission, perpetrators), and justifies the importance of circumstances as a critical element of these characteristics. The structure and content of a comprehensive investigation methodology have been developed, detailing the stages of investigative and covert (search) actions, taking into account the specifics of fraud, embezzlement, and safety violations. Practical recommendations are proposed for the collection of evidence, interaction between investigators and experts and operatives, and the use of open source analytics. The provisions of the monograph can be implemented in criminal proceedings, law enforcement practice, and methodological guidelines.
